Data-processing note

What we store. Your email address (to sign you in), the inputs you enter for a calculation, and a record of your credit purchases. We do not store passwords or card details.

Where it is stored. Account, calculation, and payment records are held in our database (Neon). Sealed calculation PDFs are stored on Cloudflare R2.

Who processes it. Neon (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (sign-in email), Cloudflare R2 (PDF storage), Upstash (rate-limiting), Payfast (payments), Sentry (error monitoring), and Plausible (cookieless analytics). Each processes data only to provide its part of the service.

Where it is processed. Several of these operators process or store data outside South Africa under agreements requiring protection comparable to POPIA; payments are processed within South Africa by Payfast. The privacy policy lists which operators this applies to and what each handles.

Data you should not enter. Do not enter spouses' full names or identity numbers in free-text description fields. The calculation does not need them.

Deleting your data. You can delete your account and personal information through the deletion flow at /account/delete. Calculation integrity hashes are retained as records, as explained in the privacy policy.
